The Bat Cave

I adopted Batman from the Humane Society of Indianapolis in 2005 when he was 7 months old. A few months after I adopted Batman I met Curt. I had never heard of Schtuzhund before I met Curt, nor had I ever adopted a German Shepherd type dog in the past. And yet, the fates came together and I got Batman and met a man who belonged to a dog club at the same time.

Batman is about 35 pounds, so even though in some photos he looks like a GSD, he is really small. But, he tries. One of our German judges at a club trail said Batman was a "little dog with a big heart." And that he is.

Here is a photo of Batman carrying a bite sleeve. No small feat for such a little guy.
